“I always thought I would be going to college right after high school. I applied to nine colleges and got into four of them; however, I am not going to any of them. Instead, I will be living in Erfurt, Germany for the next ten months as part of the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange. I will try to post at least once a week so everyone knows that I am alive and well, but I don’t know how readily available WiFi is going to be during the language camp in Hedersleben. I am at the San Francisco Airport right now, impatiently waiting to board my plane to Newark, New Jersey. I’m trying not to think about my friends and family in Temecula because I know that if I do I will start bawling. I just can’t think about being homesick.
